Blog Entry #1

Hey Seminar,

The topic for your first blog is listed below.  Remember that this should be a creative outlet for you, so have fun posting your blog.  The point of this assignment in Seminar is to inspire you to write in ways that are new for you.  My goal is to stretch you this semester and help you think in new ways and practice that thinking through the written word in new formats.

Here's the post topic - "Here's a little bit about me . . . "

Your job is to fill in the blank with a description about who you are.  I'm not expecting an essay, but I do want to learn a little more about who you are through what you share in this post. 

Remember, this is a public site not a confessional.  :)  Your language and content must meet university conduct standards.

Seminar 2012

Hello English Majors,

Welcome to English Seminar.  In this course we will discuss the various opportunities within the field of English and how to prepare for work within a variety of English related occupations.  You will also practice ways to communicate the written and spoken word.  One of the newer ways to communicate is through the medium of blogs. 

The blog that you create on this website will be considered homework and will require that you not only set up your own blog, but post to it throughout this semester.  Have fun exploring the possibilities and enjoy publishing in this new way.
